Food Network's "Behind the Bash"
FEBRUARY 2006 - Robert J. Twardzik was featured on Giadja DeLaurentis' TV show "Behind the Bash - NYC Chocolate Show." Chef Twardzik and fashion designer Austin Scarlett of Bravo TV's "Project Runway" fame collaborated on the design of a spectacular chocolate lace dress for the 2005 NY Chocolate Fashion Show Gala. The blue silk taffeta dress featured elaborate chocolate lace motifs embellished with hand-formed chocolate medallions and sugar beads and 24K gold & silver details.
Host Giadja DeLaurentis interviewed Chef Twardzik at 3 different stages of the dress' development including a segment at his West Village NYC chocolate studio and at the event's site the day of the fashion show gala.

NOVEMBER 9, 2005 - Robert J. Twardzik and designer Austin Scarlett of Project Runway fame collaborated on a beautiful chocolate lace dress for the 2005 Chocolate Fashion Show Gala Benefit for DIFFA. The dramatic and elegant chocolate lace and silk taffeta dress, chocolate hat and chocolate shoes were one of the highlights of the show. The chocolate lace designs created by Chef Twardzik were embellished with sugar beads, hand-made chocolate and sugar paste medallions and highlighted with 24K gold and silver.

the Oprah Winfrey Show with Carolyne Roehm for a How
To Create Edible Holiday Gifts Luncheon. Special
Guest Chef Twardzik taught Carolyne and her guests
how to sculpt miniature marzipan fruits, create gilded
chocolate leaves, and mold marzipan pomegranates to
decorate chocolate wood-grained cookies. These recipes
will be included in his upcoming book, Holiday
Baking Journal.
